As the sun sets on the school holidays, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible adventures that unfolded during this special time. From adrenaline-pumping Nerf battles at YMCA to the artistic flair expressed during YMCA Art Day, every experience was a memory to cherish. The holidays were a perfect blend of excitement, creativity, and connection with nature.
YMCA Adventures:
We started our holiday escapade with the heart-racing battles at YMCA, fuelled by laughter and camaraderie. Creativity found its wings during YMCA Art Day, where young artists expressed their imagination on canvas.
Embracing the Outdoors:
Sporting activities kept us active and energised throughout the break. We laced up our hiking boots for a memorable Centercare hike, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. The visit from the Museum of the Goldfields was a fascinating journey through space, igniting curiosity and wonder.
Unleashing Creativity:
The holidays were an ode to creativity. Designing skateboard decks let imaginations soar, while nature crafts allowed us to infuse the beauty of the outdoors into our art. Movie Day was a communal celebration of the cinematic world, sparking collective joy.
Playful Discoveries:
Who could resist the allure of Oobleck? We dove into gooey experimentation, reveling in the tactile and curious world of this non-Newtonian fluid.
As the holidays bid adieu, we carry the memories of these delightful experiences into the upcoming school year. Each activity added its unique brushstroke to the canvas of our break, painting it with vibrant colours of joy and growth.
Now, we stand at the threshold of a new academic chapter, eager for the adventures and discoveries that await us. Here’s to the memories we made and the exciting journey back to school, where we’ll carry the spirit of these holidays with us.
