National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year, celebrating and recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The week of festivities is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

Community members were invited to come and attend a fun filled morning with games, prizes to be won, raffles and plenty of sweet and savoury foods to choose from. With the help of our community members a generous amount of $ 1,445.75 was raised with all donations going directly to Cancer Council WA supporting people impacted by cancer when they need it most.
