NULLARBOR LINKS THE WORLD’S LONGEST GOLF COURSE AUSTRALIA

Nullarbor Links is the World’s Longest Golf Course comprising 18-holes (par 72) spanning 1,365 kilometres with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia. Each hole includes a synthetic green, tee and somewhat rugged outback-style natural terrain fairway.

The Shire of Coolgardie is host to two holes on the course, The Silver Lake Hole (Hole 16, Par 4) at the Kambalda West at the Country Club on the Goldfields Hwy and the Golden Eagle Hole (Hole 15, Par 3) in Widgiemooltha

The entire 18-hole course provides a quintessential Australian golfing experience that is unmatched anywhere in the world. Nullarbor Links also caters for casual golfers providing frequent stops which assist drivers in combating fatigue as they drive across the vast Nullarbor Plain.

The course is 10 years old and has attracted over 15,000 visitors from around the world, to take up the Australian outback golf challenge. Nullarbor Links is highly decorated in terms of state-wide tourism awards and accolades.

In its inaugural year, the attraction won the 2010 best new Tourism Development, was a finalist in the best tourism development in WA in 2011, and in 2012 won the best tourist attraction in WA. In 2013 Nullarbor Links went on to become a finalist at the national Australian Tourism awards and also that year won silver in the WA Tourism Awards.

Golfers come from all over the world and all states across Australia.  In the last eighteen months, 1,880 golfers from Australia and 110 international visitors played Nullarbor Links.

The Nullarbor Links is  maintained and operated by the Eyre Highway Operators Association (EHOA), a WA retail-based non-profit community organisation and incorporated entity.  Its sole purpose is to raise the profile of the Nullarbor and Eyre Highway to domestic and international visitors, and create a collaborative network to foster and support businesses along the Eyre Highway, with the Association owning the intellectual value of Nullarbor Links.
