All patrons that enter the water, must wear appropriate clean swimwear, children who are not toilet trained MUST wear aqua nappies.
Our Shire Aquatic Facilities are WAW (Watch Around Water registered)
Watch Around Water is an education and awareness campaign, that aims to reduce drowning and aquatic injuries amongst children through improved parental supervision.
Our Policy is Your child your focus
- under 6 ( 5 and under) must be at arm’s reach of a parent or responsible guardian aged 16yrs+ while in the water and in the facility
- Children 6-9 years must be actively supervised by a parent or responsible guardian aged 16yrs+ while in the water and in the facility
The facility consists of:
- 25 metre, 4 lane outdoor pool with step access
- Outdoor change rooms and showers
- General shaded grass areas and BBQ’s
- Large pool inflatable available for hire
Adhering to the WA Heath Department regulations, the Coolgardie pool has a 300-person capacity limit.
