The school holidays at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility were jam packed with fun and exciting events but a sure winner was long-time Kambalda resident, Min Blechynden’s Air dry clay event.
The talented Min delivered a workshop which introduced our local Kambalda youth to the wonders of air clay. The workshop was designed to help the children learn how to sculpt air clay and use their imagination to create unique masterpieces.
The session had over 25 attendees who ranged in age from toddlers to 14 years. By the end of the event, we had an amazing display of bowls, wind chimes, mini figurines and monsters!
The workshop was so well received that the Kambalda Community Recreation Centre is currently taking expressions of interest for an adult workshop.
