On Monday, 3rd February, Bev and her team from Anglicare visited Kambalda to deliver a fun and engaging morning of activities for the toddlers in our community.

On Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, a group of enthusiastic cooks of all ages gathered in the Kambalda Community Recreation Centre for a special activity, fried rice making in celebration of the Chinese New Year. 

Wednesday 22, January a group of Kambalda children recently enjoyed an exciting day out on a field trip to Kalgoorlie, thanks to the Shire of Coolgardie.

On Monday 20, January the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility was filled with creativity and plenty of messy fun, as Beverly Pack hosted a delightful Messy Play event themed around Valentine’s Day.

Kambalda was buzzing with energy on Monday, December 16th, as kids of all ages gathered for an exciting Basketball Clinic at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility.

It was a wonderful afternoon of colourful resin pouring for young adults aged 12 – 18 years presented by the lovely Em Anders and was the culmination of the two-month long Next Gen Arts Program .

On Thursday 26, September 2024 our seniors embarked on a trip to Red Hill Lookout, a beautiful spot known for its stunning views.

On Monday the 12th of September, our senior residents gathered for a quiz session and morning tea event that was enjoyed by all who attended.

On Wednesday, September 4th, the Kambalda Community Library was alive with excitement and creativity as the Kambalda Community Resource Centre hosted a special Teacher’s Day Crafter-noon.

Today’s Messy Play event, led by Beverly Pack, was a delightful exploration of emotions through sensory activities. We welcomed 29 attendees who enthusiastically engaged in a variety of creative ands interactive experiences.

On Thursday, 11 July the Shire of Coolgardie Seniors Staying Connected programme delivered a Thermomix demonstration, which left attendees captivated and eager to explore new horizons in their kitchens.

We had a fantastic evening at the Kambalda Hotel, bringing together our local small businesses to foster relationships and spark new opportunities.

Seniors Staying Connected participants were treated to a heartwarming performance by the Kambalda West District High School Y2-6 choir group on Thursday, 20 June. The performance left attendees beaming with joy as the young voices filled the room with harmonious melodies.

On Thursday, 13 June the Kambalda Community Resource Centre and MEEDAC Kambalda united to bring the Mens Health week bbq lunch to the Kambalda community.

In a celebration of artistry and meticulous technique, the Kambalda Quirky Quilters Patchwork group, recently captivated art enthusiasts and community members with their exquisite quilt display, held at the Kambalda Community library from 4-7 June 2024.
