Expression Of Interest for Suicide Prevention/Intervention Training
An opportunity has presented to bring LivingWorks Suicide Prevention/Intervention Training to Kalgoolrie-Boulder, Coolgardie, Kambalda, Menzies or Norseman between the dates of
Monday 24th and Friday 28th August.
LivingWorks, considered the world leader in suicide intervention training, can provide the following;
- SafeTALK - A half-day workshop that prepares participants to to identify people with thoughts of suicide and connect them with life-saving first aid resources.

- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) A two-day workshop that teaches participants to carry out life-saving interventions for people at risk of suicide.
- Suicide to Hope A one-day workshop for clinicians and other professional caregivers who work with persons recently at risk of and currently safe from suicide.

The training, facilitated by Lorna Hirsch, will be offered at NO COST to community, government and non government participants, funded through the Goldfields Suicide Prevention Coordination Plan.
