The Coolgardie community bands together, raises $459 for the Cancer Council at the yearly Biggest Morning Tea event.
On Monday 26th June 2023, the Coolgardie Resource Centre hosted a lovely Biggest Morning Tea event to raise funds for Cancer Council, with an array of activities, a delicious spread and amazing company the morning was an absolute treat.
The event also included a word search competition, golden teapot coin toss and a raffle with 4 prizes to be won. Many of our locals poured their heart into the competitions and their goldies into our donation jars. Attendees had many laughs during these games and even suggested having a smashing of the teapot competition after there was a teapot casualty!
The highlight of the event was the generosity of the attendees and the community members whole were unable to attend the event was overwhelming and greatly appreciated. The fundraiser will provide vital funds to support families and their loved ones affected by cancer.
We look forward to hosting this event again in 2024!
