NOTICE OF PROPOSED DIFFERENTIAL RATES

In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Coolgardie hereby gives notice that the proposed Differential Rates for the 2025/26 financial year are as follows:

GRV – Townsite/Other                                        0.089586 cents in the dollar

GRV – Transient Workforce Accommodation   0.179172 cents in the dollar

GRV – Commercial                                               0.089586 cents in the dollar

GRV – Industrial                                                    0.089586 cents in the dollar

UV – Pastoral/Rural                                             0.153561 cents in the dollar

UV – Prospecting                                                  0.191951 cents in the dollar

UV – Exploration                                                   0.230341 cents in the dollar

UV – Mining/Other                                               0.307122 cents in the dollar

Minimum Rates

GRV – Townsite/Other                                         $834.00

GRV – Transient Workforce Accommodation   $1,668.00

GRV – Commercial                                               $834.00

GRV – Industrial                                                   $834.00

UV – Pastoral/Rural                                            $746.00

UV – Prospecting                                                 $476.00

UV – Exploration                                                  $476.00

UV – Mining/Other                                              $476.00

The figures shown above are estimates and may change as part of Council’s deliberations after consideration of any submissions received.

Written submissions from electors and ratepayers are invited on the proposed rates and minimum payments. Submissions are to be received by the Shire of Coolgardie by no later than 4.00pm Thursday 17 July 2025 in order to be considered as part of the final rating strategy.
