Notice of Public Advertising of Planning Proposal

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 3.50 (1a) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Coolgardie has received a development application for the use and development of Lots 375 and 376 Shaw Street, Coolgardie for a Community Purpose use associated with the adjoining Christian Aboriginal Parent-directed School (CAPS).
Proposal: Community Purpose (School Recreation Area)
Site: Lots 375 and 376 Shaw Street, Coolgardie
Details of the proposal include:
- Use of the vacant lots as an outdoor recreation and skills area associated with the adjoining school;
- Installation of perimeter cyclone mesh fencing;
- Grassing, reticulation and minor site preparation works; and
- Controlled and supervised student access across the adjoining laneway.
No buildings, transportable structures, floodlighting or other major infrastructure are proposed as part of the application.
Plans and documents detailing the proposal are available for inspection at the Shire Offices during office hours up to and including 18 June 2026.
Submission and comments on the proposed development may be lodged in writing and should reference the property address. Please submit correspondence on the above proposal on or before the closing date with the undersigned via the following methods.
