Footpath works – Bluebush Road and Trigona Place, Kambalda
Published on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 1:01:56 PM
The Shire of Coolgardie will commence works next week to install a new concrete footpath along Bluebush Road and Trigona Place in Kambalda.
An opportunity has become available to undertake these works now while the contractor is available, allowing the Shire to progress the new footpath promptly.
The works will provide an alternative pedestrian route to Kambalda Primary School and are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Site works are planned to commence from Wednesday, 12 August 2026, with works generally taking place between 7.00am and 5.00pm.
Traffic management will be in place as required, and access to neighbouring properties will be maintained throughout the works. The works will also be staged to minimise disruption around school drop-off and the school crossing area.
The existing footpath through the bushland will not be removed until the new footpath is open and operational. There may be temporary changes to pedestrian access while the works are underway, with traffic management and site controls in place as required.
For safety reasons, community members are asked not to enter the work area, approach contractors while works are underway or interfere with construction activities. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Shire rather than raised directly with contractors on site.
Residents immediately adjoining the works will receive further information directly from the contractor before works commence.
The Shire appreciates the community’s patience while these works are completed and looks forward to having the new pedestrian route in place.
