On Tuesday 24 February 2026, the Shire of Coolgardie proudly hosted a Welcome to Kambalda Morning Tea at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility, with a fantastic turnout from both long-time residents and those new to the community.
This event was held with the intention to welcome new residents to our town and give them the opportunity to meet long term residents, Council members and local community services members.
There was a lovely morning tea provided by the Kambalda Hotel which was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
This event gave an opportunity for people to see what the Shire of Coolgardie, community groups and members of the community of Kambalda and the Shire of Coolgardie, can offer to someone new to our town.
Weather it be sharing stories about the town, talking about upcoming events or learning more about local services and community groups, this would pave the way for any new person to our town, and we hope that they feel welcomed to our community.
