All of us at the Coolgardie Community Resource Centre would like to acknowledge the wonderful work being done by Centrecare Kalgoorlie Youth Program.
Every Wednesday during the school term from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM, Centrecare provides a range of fun activities for local children through their after-school program, hosted right here at the CRC adjacent the Stadium. Whether it's a friendly game of basketball, a creative arts and crafts session, or stimulating board games, the program has seen consistently strong attendance, with some sessions drawing up to 20 young people aged 6 to 15 years old.
The Centrecare team—Faith, Karma, Megan, Nhi, and Sajit—have become part of our Coolgardie Youth Family. Their friendly and welcoming presence is something both the children and parents have come to deeply appreciate.
But the commitment doesn’t end with the school term - during the school holidays, Centrecare goes the extra mile to organise special activities like Movie Afternoons and Scavenger Hunts.
Thank you, Centrecare! We are very grateful for all that you do for our young people. You are making a real difference in Coolgardie.
