The Shire of Coolgardie is getting ready for the upcoming aquatic season, with preseason maintenance and repairs underway at both the Coolgardie and Kambalda Aquatic Facilities.
Our teams are working hard to make sure the facilities are safe, ready, and meet all required standards before they open to the community.
Getting ready for opening
There are a few important steps that need to be completed before we can confirm opening dates. These include:
- Completing preseason maintenance and repairs.
- Completing the required Department of Health water testing.
- Receiving and reviewing the water testing results.
- Finalising our aquatic staffing arrangements.
At this stage, opening dates and operating hours have not yet been confirmed. We are aiming to have this information finalised and shared with the community as soon as possible after the school holidays.
