Seniors Celebrate a Country Christmas at annual Luncheon.

More than 130 seniors from the Shire of Coolgardie and the Shire of Dundas came together yesterday to welcome the festive season at the annual Seniors Christmas Luncheon. The event delivered a true Country Christmas atmosphere, complete with great company, delicious food, and outstanding local entertainment.

Guests were treated to performances from Te Puawai O Kambalda Roopu – the Kambalda West District High School Kapa Haka Group, the lively Kambalda Senior Bootscooters, and the talented Barefoot Bands. The room lit up as each group took the stage, showcasing the spirit, culture, and creativity of our community. A special visit from Santa added to the fun, with plenty of smiles and a few festive surprises.

The Shire extends heartfelt thanks to every business, community member, and volunteer who contributed to making the day so special. A special acknowledgment goes to Kambalda West District High School, whose students not only performed but also supported the event through their hospitality program by assisting with food service.

The day would not be possible without the support of the following sponsors. With your immense help we were able to deliver a memorable day for some of our most deserving.
