The Judumual Aboriginal Corporation has been working hard over the past year to improve key spaces around Coolgardie while supporting our local elders. Their team has been busy tidying up the Coolgardie Cemetery, refreshing and revitalising Warden Finnerty Gardens, and delivering Meals on Wheels twice a week to seniors who need a little extra support.
These projects come from a deep sense of responsibility and connection to the land and people of Coolgardie. Keeping the cemetery tidy ensures this important cultural and historical place is cared for with respect. Enhancing Warden Finnerty Gardens helps create a welcoming space for the whole community to enjoy. And the ongoing Meals on Wheels service ensures our seniors are nourished, supported, and never forgotten.
This work has been happening throughout the past year and is still ongoing as Judumual Aboriginal Corporation continues its commitment to strengthening and caring for the Coolgardie community.
