On Thursday, 26 February 2026, the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility came alive with colour and creativity as the Shire of Coolgardie hosted a hands‑on craft workshop.
Bunnings Activities Organsier, NJ led a sea-grass basket making session, guiding participants as they shaped natural materials into beautiful baskets and hanging pieces. As the afternoon went on, the room transformed into a vibrant display of personality and flair—each creation made even brighter with the addition of lively, colourful flowers.
It wasn’t just about crafting; it was about connection. With people chatting, sharing ideas and admiring one another’s work, the workshop quickly became a warm, welcoming space where creativity and community spirit flourished.
