Families joined us at the Coolgardie Recreation Centre on Tuesday for a fun-filled morning of bird-themed books and crafts!
We read Busy Beaks, a colourful story all about Australia’s amazing native birds and how they keep busy. After the story, the kids jumped straight into craft time. Designing and creating their own beautiful birds with feathers, coloured paper, googly eyes and plenty of imagination.
Their artwork was so wonderful, they even created a display at the Rec Centre so that everyone can enjoy their feathered creations.
