Today in the Coolgardie Play Group, we celebrated three birthdays and found out “What the Fluffy Bunny said to the Tiny Mouse” by P. Crumble and Chris Saunders.
Reading is so much fun and our three birthday girls enjoyed their birthday story books from the Shire of Coolgardie Recreation Centre. We had jelly cups (thanks Coriana), birthday cake (thanks Jess), morning tea, birthday dances and story time. It was fun celebrating with friends our birthdays.
In our story we soon discovered that the Fluffy Bunny was a very smart bunny. He had his friends - mouse, turtle, koala, llama, rhino, moose and elephant - line up to see who was the tallest. The Fluffy Bunny then hopped on each animal's back to reach a cookie jar in a tall tree! A very clever bunny.
