Coolgardie kids dressed up for Halloween having fun

On the 27th of October we got spooky with a Halloween themed arts and activity session at the Coolgardie Rec Centre full of fun and snacks.

In the morning the students at Coolgardie Primary School visited us to participate in the activities, which included decorating biscuits, finding treasures buried in slime and making trick or treating masks.  We also had pumpkin shaped lantern making with Justine from Bunnings, spider making with Peta from the museum of the Goldfields and temporary tattoos and nails with BEGA.

The visiting students got to show off their costumes to their friends and teachers, and though the choice was hard we managed to choose the best costume. The first group of students particularly enjoyed the activities with slime, the older students had a lot of fun with Bega and their fake injury tattoos, using them to add more spookiness to their costumes and props.

After school we had another arts and crafts session, some of the kids from the school stopped by to do some more Halloween activities and have more early snacks. Overall, it was a fun day filled with Halloween themed activities.

A special Thank you to Coolgardie Primary School, Justine from Bunnings, Toods and Alyssa from BEGA and Peta from the Museum of the Goldfields for making the day a scream!
