What a fantastic morning it was at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility, as we hosted its very first Community Morning Tea!
The new initiative is all about bringing the community together every second Monday for a cuppa, a chat, a delicious morning tea and, most importantly, some great company.
It was wonderful to see a mix of familiar faces and some new community members joining us for the morning tea. There were plenty of smiles, conversations and laughs as everyone enjoyed the opportunity to catch up and connect.
Adding a little extra excitement to the morning, Hudson Circus generously donated eight double-pass circus tickets between Kambalda and Coolgardie, which were raffled off to lucky community members. A huge thank you to Hudson Circus for helping make our first morning tea even more special!
A big thank you also goes to everyone who came along and supported the event, and to the fantastic staff for putting together such a lovely morning and creating a welcoming space for our community to come together.
It was a wonderful start to what we hope will become a much-loved regular event on the community calendar.
We’re already looking forward to the next Community Morning Tea on Monday, 12 October — so come along, grab a cuppa, enjoy some morning tea and have a chat. You never know who you might meet!
