Father's Day in Coolgardie was a resounding success, filled with joy and enthusiasm, thanks to everyone’s participation.
In a gesture of appreciation for Fathers and Father figures, the center hosted not one, but two special events that brought families together from all corners of Coolgardie.
Crafting Memories at Our Monthly Crafternoon Event
The festivities began at the Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre, where families gathered for an unforgettable Father's Day craft session during our monthly crafter noon event. Children of all ages let their creativity soar as they lovingly crafted unique gifts for their Fathers and Father figures. Under the guidance of the dedicated staff, the room buzzed with excitement as heartfelt creations took shape.
Christian Aboriginal Parent Directed School (CAPS) Kurrawang Join the Celebration
The excitement continued the following Monday, as the Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre welcomed the entire Christian CAPS Kurrawang School and their families. It was a heartwarming sight to see students and their fathers and father figures coming together for a day filled with camaraderie and fun.
After a morning filled with creative endeavors and games, families ventured outdoors to a mouthwatering BBQ lunch. The aroma of grilled delights filled the air, enhancing the sense of community and togetherness that this event aimed to foster.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of the day was the multitude of games and activities that ensued. From friendly sports competitions to teamwork-oriented games, participants reveled in a day of laughter, shared experiences, and the strengthening of relationships.
