Kambalda Purple Bench Unveiling

Purple Benches are part of the Purple Bench Project which supports the installation of purple benches in public spaces to honour all victims of domestic and family violence (DFV).
The Purple Bench Project was brought to Western Australia (WA) by the Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence Services WA with the first being installed in the City of Fremantle in 2018 and now Kambalda will have their very own!
Due to the overwhelming support of the installation of the Coolgardie Purple Bench Project the Shire of Coolgardie is now installing one at the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility.
We invite you to join us in the unveiling of this bench, which helps to raises awareness for family domestic violence.
