Road Repair Works in Coolgardie

AMPOL is responsible for undertaking repair works at the intersection of Bayley Street/Great Eastern Highway and Jobson Street Coolgardie from Thursday 27 October 2022 to Saturday 29 October 2022 between the hours of 7am and 5pm. 

Main Roads WA has approved the Traffic Management Plan that will be in place whilst works are being carried out.

Details include:

• Great Eastern Hwy/Jobson St intersection - Advanced signage with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h to cover Workers and Machinery less than 1.2m from the trafficable path. Advanced signage for the closure of Jobson St between Great Eastern Hwy and Sylvester St. Vehicles existing from the Caltex Roadhouse onto Jobson St may have to wait temporally for workers and machinery to clear.
• Footpaths are located within the worksite and will not be affected.
• Cyclists can pass the worksite with the general flow of traffic.
• Any pedestrians, if encountered within the work zone, will be guided safely away from the work zone by works personnel. When people with disabilities and other vulnerable road users are encountered Traffic Controllers and/or Work Site personnel are to guide these people past and/or through the work zone when it is safe to do so.
