NOTICE OF PROPOSED
DIFFERENTIAL RATES
In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995 notice is given that the proposed Differential Rates for the 2023/24 financial year are as follows;
Differential General Rates
Strategic Industry (GRV) 0.122151 cents in the dollar
Transient Workforce Accommodation 0.244202 cents in the dollar
Pastoral/Rural (UV) 0.118190 cents in the dollar
Mining/Other (UV) 0.232260 cents in the dollar
Residential 0.081401 cents in the dollar
Commercial 0.081401 cents in the dollar
General Industry, Light Industry, Industrial Area, Light Industrial Area 0.081401 cents in the dollar
Minimum Rates
Strategic Industry (GRV) $757.00
Transient Workforce Accommodation $2,271.00
Pastoral/Rural (UV) $732.00
Mining/Other (UV) $467.00
Residential $757.00
Commercial $757.00
General Industry, Light Industry, Industrial Area, Light Industrial Area $757.00
The figures shown above are estimates and may change as part of Council’s deliberations after consideration of any submissions received.
A Statement of the Objects and Reasons for the proposed differential rates may be obtained from the following locations;
- Kambalda Shire Administration Office, Irish Mulga Drive, Kambalda
- Kambalda Recreation Centre, Barnes Drive, Kambalda
- Coolgardie Shire Administration Office, Bayley Street, Coolgardie
Written submissions from electors and ratepayers are invited on the proposed rates and minimum payments. Submissions are to be received by the Shire of Coolgardie, Irish Mulga Drive, Kambalda 6442, by no later than 4.00pm Monday 19th June 2023.
