AMPOL Road works in Coolgardie

AMPOL has informed the Shire that these works have been postponed until further notice.

AMPOL is undertaking repair works at the intersection of Bayley and Jobson Streets Coolgardie from Monday 15 August 2022 to Tuesday 16 August 2022.
Traffic management will be in place whilst works are being carried out. AMPOL’s contact whilst these works are underway is 0458 214 837 or 0492 246 745.
Stage 1 Great Eastern Hwy/Jobson St intersection.
Advanced signage with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h to cover Workers and Machinery less than 1.2m from the trafficable path. Advanced signage for a closure of the south bound lane on Jobson St between Great Eastern Hwy and Sylvester St. Vehicles existing from the Ampol Roadhouse onto Jobson St may have to wait temporally for workers and machinery to clear.
Stage 2. Ampol Entry, Great Eastern Hwy.
Advanced signage with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h to cover Workers and Machinery less than 1.2m from the trafficable path.
Ampol Roadhouse will have no heavy vehicle access from Great Eastern Hwy. The Turning pocket on Great Eastern Hwy to the Ampol Roadhouse to be closed off.
Stage 3. Ampol Exit, Great Eastern Hwy.
Advanced signage with a reduced speed limit of 40km/h to cover Workers and Machinery less than 1.2m from the trafficable path. Ampol Roadhouse vehicles will need to existing via Jobson St.
Heavy Vehicles will be directed by onsite traffic management controllers. If these vehicles have trouble negotiating the worksite, all work will stop and the road cleared of workers and machinery to allow the oversize vehicular traffic to pass before closing the road again and resuming work.
