Shire of Coolgardie Chief Executive Officer, James Trail, outlined a series of strategic partnerships designed to benefit the entire community as part of last month’s What’s Down the Track Forum and Exhibition.
Mr Trail utilised video footage as part of an insightful presentation which outlined some of the hard work already undertaken by the shire, alongside future planning.
As gold sponsors, the Shire of Coolgardie was represented among a capacity attendance of 450 people.
The annual forum provided a 12-month forecast for key stakeholders supporting growth of the region’s economy and who recognise the wealth of opportunities that make it possible.
Each of the guest speakers, including Mr Trail, offered a broad perspective on the region’s sustainability which encompassed mining and mineral processing, technology and innovation, tourism, education, health and liveability initiatives.
