The Shire of Coolgardie is seeking an experienced and capable operational leader to join our Commercial Services team as Manager Waste and Sewerage Services.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of essential community infrastructure and lead the delivery of the Shire’s waste, landfill, sewerage and wastewater services across Coolgardie and Kambalda.
We are looking for someone who brings strong operational capability, sound judgement and a practical leadership style — someone who can lead people, manage risk and compliance, improve how services are delivered and help shape the future of these critical services.

The position is permanent and full-time, based across Coolgardie/Kambalda, with travel between Shire depots and waste and sewerage facilities as required.

What We Can Offer You
Salary Package: Remuneration of $114,000 – $145,000 per annum, commensurate with skills, experience and the responsibilities and seniority of the role, PLUS 12% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading. Remuneration is inclusive of any applicable regional allowances.

Who We're Looking For
We want to hear from experienced operational leaders who can combine people leadership with practical service delivery.
You may already have experience in local government, waste, wastewater, utilities, civil infrastructure, environmental services or another operationally complex environment.
Importantly, you will bring the ability to lead people, take accountability, work collaboratively, manage competing priorities and deliver safe, compliant and reliable services for the community.
