The Shire of Coolgardie is pleased to announce the appointment of Sabine Taylor as the new Executive Manager Community, Development and Regulatory Services. Sabine will be stepping into a key leadership role, overseeing a wide range of operations including Recreation Services, Visitors Centres, Community Resource Centres, Library Services, Tourism, Heritage, Planning, Building and Health, Waste Facilities, and Aquatic Centres.
Sabine expressed her excitement about joining the Shire, saying, “I am honoured by the opportunity provided by Acting CEO Aaron Cook and the Council. I look forward to working closely with a diverse community and local businesses”
With over 25 years of experience in leadership roles spanning Local Government, ASX-listed companies, and private enterprises, Sabine brings a wealth of expertise to the Shire. Her background in project and risk management, combined with her proven ability to oversee transformational change, will be invaluable in driving positive outcomes for the community.
Sabine is passionate about inspiring teams, fostering community engagement, and delivering results that benefit the region. Outside of work, she enjoys golf and motorbike riding and believes that maintaining a balanced work-life approach is essential for both happiness and productivity.
The Shire welcomes Sabine as she fills this important vacant position, confident that her leadership will contribute to a new direction for the Shire of Coolgardie community.
