The WA Seniors Card program is one of the most generous of its kind in Australia, offering over 406,000 members access to a wide range of State Government concessions and rebates. The program also provides discounts from participating businesses across Western Australia, offering seniors the chance to save money on everyday expenses, entertainment, and leisure activities.
On the 11th of May, the WA Seniors Card Team visited the Coolgardie Recreation Centre to provide information about the Seniors Card program, provide information about the latest membership benefits available and assist seniors in updating or applying for their cards. The event was a great success, with many seniors taking advantage of the opportunity to update their cards or even to become new members of the program.
One new member who joined the program was excited to receive their card so they can start taking advantage of the many discounts and deals available. Many other attendees were pleased to update their cards, ensuring they had the latest information and access to all the current benefits.
The WA Seniors Card team is hoping to revisit Coolgardie soon and even add in a Kambalda trip next time. If you missed the event, you can still join the program or update your card by visiting the WA Seniors Card website or asking one of the Recreation team members for help on how to apply.
