Shire President, Malcolm Cullen said the MOU with Central Regional TAFE will help support Shire of Coolgardie residents in accessing training within their community.

“By providing free and easy access to training and education, we hope to build a strong local workforce. This initiative with TAFE will benefit our students, businesses and community as a whole,” said Cr Cullen.

The Shire has also worked with Central Regional TAFE on supporting VET Pathways for Year 11 and 12 students at Kambalda West District High School, removing the need for Kambalda youth to travel to Kalgoorlie-Boulder for their studies.
