Thursday 20th January saw the first Seniors Staying Connected program delivered for 2022.

The Seniors Staying Connected program was launched in 2021 delivering a range of free activities to seniors, 63 years of age within the community.

Once a fortnight the Shire hosts up to 20 senior residents and takes them on an outing for up to 3 hours. Outings may include lawn bowls, darts, healthy eating cooking classes and visiting local Arts Centre to participate in craft activities.

To kick start the program for 2022 we saw 20 enthusiastic Seniors come together bursting with ideas to assist with activities for the next 12 months.

Thank you to everyone who shared great ideas both big and small ………….. now to put it all into practice.
Get yourselves ready for another exciting year of fun-filled activities.

Keep an eye on out for the February Seniors Staying Connected calendar to see what's coming up next month.
