On Thursday the 24 of November 2022, the Shire of Coolgardie hosted their annual Seniors Christmas. Being dual town, it was Coolgardie’s turn to host, with Kambalda Seniors enjoying a bus ride to the event. It was attended by approximately 130 seniors from Kambalda, Coolgardie, Widgiemooltha, and visitors of the Shire of Dundas. Attendees enjoyed a 2 course Christmas luncheon, and were entertained by the local schools, Heart of Gold dance company, followed by fun games, and a surprise visit from Santa. Door prizes were drawn throughout the event with these prizes being donated by local businesses. M.C, Chris Edmonsdon delighted attendees with live music and Christmas Carols which provided the festive feel.
