On Monday 12th October the Kambalda Community Resource Centre along with Gold Fields St Ives were privileged to be given the chance to host an evening via video with Michael Crossland, one of Australia’s most in demand inspirational speakers.
Michael is an extraordinary young man who has defied the odds to build a life of exceptional achievements.
Diagnosed with an incurable cancer and being the sole survivor of a horrific cancer drug trial, Michael is a true fighter and despite been told what he could not do, he carries on to show the world everything he can fulfill.
Having spent a quarter of his life in hospital, his battle continues to this very day.
Michael's story brought tears to our eyes and a smile to our hearts as he taught the keys to success, the importance of embracing change and the mindset to achieve goals.
Against all odds and been told he would never be able to have children, Michael amazed everyone with the announcement of his wife’s pregnancy and who later gave birth to a beautiful boy.
Thank you to Gold Fields St Ives for bringing Michael’s inspirations and very personal journey to the Kambalda community and to everyone who came along on the night.
