The Shire of Coolgardie offers a range of opportunities for residents, businesses, community members and industry stakeholders to share ideas, insights and feedback on projects and policies to help the Shire make informed decisions.
On 22 June 2019, the Shire of Coolgardie launched its inaugural “Community Conversation” series in Coolgardie to update the community on current projects in their community and gather feedback on new initiatives.
The event attracted over 30 community members and the Shire greatly appreciated their time and feedback into the future of the Coolgardie townsite. Future workshops are currently being planned for Coolgardie and Kambalda.
As part of this initiative a community consultation portal has been launched on the Shire’s website which allows community members an easily accessible avenue to providing feedback online.
Consultations currently available for comment via the portal include the Bayley Street Upgrade and the Local Law Review. To have your say head to www.coolgardie.wa.gov.au/havemysay - all submissions will be collated, analysed and considered.
