Hosted by Coolgardie CRC and Parenting Connections WA

Every fortnight, the Coolgardie CRC joins forces with Beverly Packs from Parenting Connection WA to deliver a new and exciting program! One of the favourites amongst our Toddlers is the Sensory Based play.  If you’ve heard of the term ‘sensory play’ but are not sure what it means, it basically refers to any sort of play that can stimulate the senses – touch, smell, hearing and sight. Sensory or messy play as we like to call it, is how babies and toddlers learn, and has been shown to improve a number of skills, including cognitive, social and fine motor skills. It can involve anything from blowing bubbles to sand play, slime, painting, and using a range of different and safe materials to make a MESS!

These play sessions are great for kids to interact with others their own age, develop their skills all while keeping the Messy Play out of your home! Its also a fun way to catch up with your friends or to meet other parents, swap stories and enjoy a break from the day to day.

Toddler Time runs every Wednesday at the Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre from 9:30am – 11:00am. (With Beverly join us every 2nd week )

We always love to welcome new families to join in the fun. This program is for children aged 0 – 5 years of age. Toddler Time activities change from week to week to keep it fun and exciting for the children attending!
