Employment Expo Builds Community Connections

Employers, job seekers and service providers were brought together at recent job expos hosted by MEEDAC in Coolgardie and Kambalda.

The Community and Employment Expos, held in Kambalda on August 5 and in Coolgardie on August 6, were planned and implemented to allow community members/clients the opportunity to identify and access community and support services that service the region, while also discussing their career pathways and potential local vacancies with employers.

Natasha Colman from MEEDAC said the event was a great success and they have received very positive feedback from the community, with clients successfully interviewing for local positions, securing sustainable employment and connecting with community and support services.
