The kids in Coolgardie are never bored on Wednesday afternoons! The Centrecare Youth team comes to Coolgardie every Wednesday after school during the school term with different and fun activities for the kids to participate in. These activities change weekly and can be anything from Slime making to Sports.

Team member Clifton always makes sure there is a yummy meal for everyone who attends as well as plenty of snacks and drinks to keep the energy levels high!

This term, the Centrecare Youth program will focus heavily on sports with engaging programs designed to teach the children different skills and team work. The benefits of youth participating in sport doesn’t just stop at the physical aspect but has also been proven to help boost self-confidence, promote community engagement and a sense of wellbeing.

The afternoon fun kicks off at 3:30pm and runs until 5:00pm in the Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre.
