Proof of Vaccination from Monday, 31 January

From 12:01 am Monday, 31 January, proof of vaccination requirements will expand to apply to certain venues and events state-wide. Learn more below about how to obtain your proof of COVID-19 vaccination, where you will need to show proof, and what you can do if you cannot obtain proof online.

Based on the latest health advice, the State Government has expanded its proof of vaccination requirements to include new higher-risk venues across WA. This includes gyms, indoor sport centres, fitness centres and dance studios (including yoga, barre, pilates, aerobics, dancing or spin facilities).


From 12:01am Monday, 31 January 2022, anyone aged 16 years and older attending the Kambalda Community Recreation Centres to access the Gym or participate in
group fitness classes will be required to show proof of their double-dose COVID-19 vaccination (or medical exemption) prior to accessing the facilities. Proof of vaccination can be either digital or paper form, along with proof of identification if not using the ServiceWA app. 


Gym members are required to provide proof of vaccination to a staff member at the Kambalda Recreation Centres so their access to the Gym can be continued. 


Members will only have to provide proof of vaccination once. From 12:01am Monday 31 January 2022, access will be subject to proof of vaccination being provided. 


Visitors to other areas of the Kambalda Recreation Centres are not required to provide proof of vaccination at this time. 


All visitors to the Community Recreation Centres and Gyms are still required to check in using the ServiceWA app (or paper-based contact register) each time they visit. 


For the health and safety of Gym members, the following COVID-19 conditions of entry must be adhered to:

  • Please do not attend the facilities if you are unwell
  • Face masks must be worn indoors at all times except during vigorous exercise
  • Sanitise your hands upon entry
  • Towels must be used on equipment – no towel, no workout
  • Wipe down the equipment with the supplied spray and wipe after use
  • Please observe 1.5m physical distancing and practice good hygiene at all times

Playgrounds and Skateparks

  • Please observe 1.5m physical distancing and practice good hygiene at all times. This is mainly for those who are using the area surrounding the playground or skate park (i.e. parents watching their children)
  • If the playground/skate park is too crowded, consider coming back at another time

TransWA

Please be advised Shire of Coolgardie staff are available to assis with any TransWA enquiries. Such as bookings or changes to current bookings.

Staff are able to email the booking confirmation to customers and process payment over the phone.

Registered Pensioner Concession cardholders receiving FREE travel entitlements each calendar year, redeemable for two single journeys or one return journey can also be assisted.

We are currently unable to accept or receive the FREE blue travel vouchers.
