The State Government's Free Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) Program continues to expand, with Western Australians now able to access 5 free RAT's from their local Community Resource Centre.

What is Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

Coronavirus are a large family of viruses known to cause respiratory infections. These can range from the common cold to more serious diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS_. This new coronavirus originated in Hubei Province, China and disease is named COVID-19.

What is the Shire of Coolgardie doing?

The Shire of Coolgardie has been closely monitoring information about COVID-19 being provided through a range of health providers and government agencies.

Gym Memberships

For the health and safety of Gym members, the following COVID-19 conditions of entry must be adhered to:

  • Please do not attend the facilities if you are unwell
  • Face masks must be worn indoors at all times except during vigorous exercise
  • Sanitise your hands upon entry
  • Towels must be used on equipment – no towel, no workout

TransWA

Please be advised Shire of Coolgardie staff are available to assis with any TransWA enquiries. Such as bookings or changes to current bookings.

Staff are able to email the booking confirmation to customers and process payment over the phone.

Registered Pensioner Concession cardholders receiving FREE travel entitlements each calendar year, redeemable for two single journeys or one return journey can also be assisted.

We are currently unable to accept or receive the FREE blue travel vouchers.
