What is Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses known to cause respiratory infections. These can range from the common cold to more serious diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). This new coronavirus originated in Hubei Province, China and the disease is named COVID-19.

Playgrounds and Skateparks 

Open as of Saturday 6 June 2020

  • Stay home if you are unwell: even if you don’t think you could have COVID-19
  • Community members have a responsibility for their own personal hygiene and physical distancing
  • Adhere to 2 sqm per person physical distancing where possible.  This is mainly for those who are using the area surrounding the playground or skate park (i.e. parents watching their children)
  • Remember to wash hands/use sanitiser before, during and after using any shared public equipment or facilities
  • Limit extended stays to 1 hour #enjoyandleave
  • If the playground/skate park is too crowded, consider coming back at another time

We are able to email the booking confirmation to our customers and process payment over the phone.


Registered Pensioner Concession cardholders receiving FREE Travel entitlements each calendar year redeemable for two single journeys or one return journey can also be assisted. We are currently unable to accept or receive the free blue travel vouchers.
