Hiring of Meeting Rooms, Halls, & Other Council Facilities

All bookings for Shire facilities are made by contacting the Shire Office on (08) 90802 111. Hirers are reminded that it is Council Policy that all facilities must be left clean and free from litter. A refundable deposit is required and the hirer will be charged the cost of any cleaning performed by the Shire and for any breakages incurred.

The Shire has the following venues for hire in Coolgardie:

• Town Hall, Bayley Street, Coolgardie
• Coolgardie Recreation Centre Meeting Rooms & Sports Hall, Sylvester Street Coolgardie

The Town Hall has a facility to have alcohol at this venue, but it will be necessary for the hirer to arrange a liquor permit. An application for a Liquor Permit can be lodged at the local police station, and sufficient time should be allowed to process the application. The Shire also has a facility for hiring furniture, which consists of chairs and trestle tables.

• Harry Steinhauser Reserve (East Oval)
• West Oval
• East Badminton Hall
• Kambalda Community and Recreation Centre Community Meeting Rooms and Function Room
