Libraries
The Shire of Coolgardie's public library services are part of a state wide network that operates between local government authorities and the Library Information Service of Western Australia. The Kambalda Library is situated in the Kambalda Community and Recreation Facility on Barnes Drive. The Coolgardie Library is located within the Coolgardie Shire Office on Bayley Street.

Memberships
Membership Library membership is free and anyone can join. To become a library member you must produce proof of your current address, for example a drivers' license, rates notice, pension card or bill. If you are under the age of 18 years old, a parent or guardian's signature is required.
